1) Ratio- Ratio is a relationship between two numbers that are the same.
2) Rate- Rate is a ratio that compares two amounts of different units.
3) Proportion-A proportion is an equation with a ratio on each side.
--------------------------
- 5 hours to travel 360 miles is about 72 mph.
- As a playgroup worker, if I increase the amount of apple juice I am serving at the playgroup from 25 ml to 100 ml, how much should I increase the the orange juice to, to keep the quantities in the same proportion? The orange juice is 50 ml to start with.
3/4 = 12/16 or 4/9 = 16/32
3/4=12/16 is true because 3 times 16 is 48 and 4 times 16 is 48.
--------------------------
Does this seem fair? No because this homeless dude only stole $100 and turned himself in and has to stay in prison for 15 years. The rich guy stole 30 million dollars and has to stay in prison for ONLY 1 year, or something like that.

Hi Ashley! I liked how you change the font color which makes it very attractive. I agree that 3/4 and 12/16 are equal. Actually for task 5 question 1, Paul was sent to prison in 3 years not 1. I also didn't get your answer for task 5 and you didn't answer all of the questions. I also suggest you put pictures about ratio, rate, and proportion. You should also prove if 4/9 and 16/32 are equal or not. By the way, I liked the video that you post.
